you can use a Blu Ray DVD player in a 7 year old 42 "plasma TV?
Obviously, the plasma display from NEC was before the arrival of the "HDTV ready". I just want to avoid the expense of buying a screen HDTV when the plasma works well.
You will be able to make it work. The image quality will depend on what connection you use system. I do not have manuals on hand 7 years of age, the units of NEC, but I guess the best quality connection you can do from the BluRay player will be the component outputs and inputs, which is a set of type three "RCA" connectors on each end.
