DLP Optoma: 1000 lumens;4000:1 contrast; 92" screen. Normal lit room: GOOD IMAGE? CABLE hook in?
DLP Optoma Digital Projector. 1000 lumens, 480p resolution,4000:1 contrast ratio. Screen: 92". Can view at Circuit city. I want to hook cable into and game system. Is this what I want or is there something else I should be looking at? DVD top loads into this to play. Is this considered "wide screen" or "full" when purchasing DVD's?
Ok, issue #1- if you have the 92" screen the DLP projector needs, this is a very good system. I'm pretty sure you should be able to hook up cable and a game system to it, whether straight through a RCA input or a s-video. This is a very large area to be covering, I hope that if you DO buy this, and you don't have the screen needed, I hope it comes with it... Now, issue #2- It has a 'native' 16:9 (widescreen) aspect, but it also supports 4:3 (fullscreen).
