Laptop Projector
Anyone know of a laptop and projector that are very user friendly for PowerPoint presentations?
Tomorrow my boss and I are heading out to buy a laptop and projector to use JUST for PowerPoint presentations. The audience wouldn't (normally) be more than a 100 people so it doesn't have to be movie theater quality. We are mostly concerned with the durability and ease in setup. Any advice is most appreciated! Thanks!
You really can't go wrong with any projector and laptop...pretty much any laptop will work with any projector.
My only recommendation would be to get a smaller projector (easy to lug around) that has at least 2000 lumens and is XGA resolution.
Keep the laptop simple too. A very basic laptop is all you need if it is mainly going to be used for PPT. Make sure the laptop has a standard VGA connector on it:

If you get a small laptop and projector they both may fit in one carry case.
Don't forget to get a USB drive to transfer the PPT files from computer to computer if you don't have one already.
(also make sure you buy PowerPoint for the laptop)
