I watch TV a video projector DLP HDTV?
I want to buy the Sharp XR-32X DLP video projector and says its HDTV Ready. Does this mean I can connect a digital antenna to it and watch HDTV channels on it?
No, you can only connect an antenna. You can watch TV, but if you use a tuner that outputs of a movie in HD signal. For example, and cablebox HD or satellite receiver. Both 720p or 1080i output that can be brought through component or HDMI-DVI cable to the projector. Note that there are only small speakers in the projector and would be best to feed the audio from the cablebox or satellite receiver to an audio system of some sort (preferably a surround sound system). Projectors are by far the best way to watch HDTV on a large screen (I would not see otherwise) ... but they are only a video display device (unlike a TV that contains the speakers and tuner). It is also necessary to keep the room dark enough to achieve an optimal image (although in the Sharp 2500 lumens allow you to see some lights in the room). The Sharp is considered a good choice for classroom use ... but will not prevent it a reasonable option for domestic use. Note that once set for the HDTV same configuration is easy to use for movies by adding a DVD or Blu-ray. Hope that helps.
