EzPRO 550 CTX problem - loose wires from the lamps?

I bought a EzPro 550 projector. For some reason where the lamps are there seems to be 2 wires that come from the lamps and doesnt connect to anything. I believe this is the reason why the lamps arent lighting up but there doesnt seem to be anywhere to connect them. Ive tried to take the projector to parts but cant seem to take the plastic shell off.

Please help me to get this projector working!
It wasnt bought brand new.
If anyone can tell me how to get the plastic shell off would be a great help aswell. Ive unscrewed the screws but just doesnt want to budge

If it's new, I strongly recommend you bring it back as it could be a sign it's not totally new, or that it wasn't tested correctly (maybe shipping took a toll). If it's not on warranty or that you can't simply bring it to the store, it's usually a question of finding all the screws to open one. They like to put them under trim and stickers. Check them all and try to take off any small trim as they will usually hide screws. Most projectors are built to be easily taken apart for ease of maintenance. Some others (cheaper) will use snapping methods. Theses are harder to open since you don't want to break it, but at the same time, you need to force it open!
